| 내용 | 교육용 영상미디어의 외적체제에 관한 연구 - 황금분할 분석을 중심으로 - A Study on external structure for educational video media - Focused on the Analysis on the golden section - 편 정 민 서울과학기술대학교 조형대학 디자인학과 교수 Pyun jung-min Seoul National University of Science & Technology ____________________________________________________________ 논문요약 영상미디어는 시청각적 영상 및 음향효과들이 응집되어있는 콘텐츠이다. 특히 앞으로도 많은 수요와 발전가능성이 예상되는 교육용 영상미디어는 정보전달력이 무엇보다 뛰어나야하기 때문에 화면의 구성, 즉 레이아웃이 매우 중요하다. 화면의 구성적 측면에서 안정감과 균형감을 내제하면서 방향성과 운동감을 표현하는데 효율적인 화면비율로는 황금비율을 꼽을 수 있다. 황금비는 동서고금, 과거 현재를 초월하여 자연의 내재적 질서로 예술디자인 작품의 1) 형태 발상의 기본 구조, 2) 조형의 구성 원리, 3) 보편적 아름다움으로 중요한 역할을 담당한다(윤민희, 2009). 또한 황금분할은 이상적인 비율로서 질서체계 및 형태미를 갖고 있으며 인간의 마음을 편안하게 만들어 역사적으로 수많은 디자인에 활용되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 효율적인 영상미디어 디자인 외적체제 개발을 위해 황금분할을 기반으로 한 레이아웃 포맷을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 16:10의 비율에 해당하는 디스플레이 발전과정에 대한 소개와 함께 ‘황금사각형’과 ‘황금나선’으로 교육용 영상미디어 레이아웃 포맷을 제안하였으며, 개발된 포맷을 사용하여 <변화하는 사회(중등학교 교사용)> 영상미디어 콘텐츠를 제작하였다. 제작한 영상장면에 대한 황금분할을 통해 황금분할을 기반으로 한 레이아웃이 콘텐츠의 명시성 및 정보전달력에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 황금분할을 기반으로 한 외적체제 연구를 통해 다양한 황금비율의 활용가능성을 제시하였으며, 이러한 외적체제가 계속적으로 연구된다면 향후 교육용 영상미디어의 학습효과 제고를 위해 보다 향상된 미디어 전략을 창출할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 주제어 황금분할, 영상미디어 Abstract Video media is a content where visual images and sound effects are concentrated. Expected to greatly develop and be consumed in the future, educational video media puts its stress on screen organization, layout, in other words, because its power of information delivery should be more excellent than any other media. In the respect of screen organization, the golden section is a ratio that is easy to express directions and movements while it feels stability and balance. The golden section, transcending all ages, countries and times, is an immanent order of nature; it takes an important role in artcraft design as 1) a basic structure of form generation, 2) constituting principle of figures, and 3) general beauty. The golden section also has the order and physical beauty as an ideal proportion, making human minds comfortable; therefore, it has been used for so many designs in history. This study presented a layout format based on the golden section, to develop an effective outward system for video media design. For that, the formula and development of 16:10 proportion display were introduced and applied for the layout format of educational video media, in the forms of 'the golden square' and 'the golden spiral.' The developed format was used in making video media content for <The Changing Society (for secondary school teachers). Through the golden section on the video scenes, the layout based on the golden section proved that it could help to clarify the content and deliver information. Through the study on outward system based on the golden section, this study presented various possibilities for using it. Consistent studies on such outward system are expected to create rather improved media strategy where educational video media would raise the learning effect in the future.
