| 내용 | 독거노인을 위한 트렌드 스마트 워치 디자인 연구 - 건강 모니터링을 중심으로 - A Study on The Trend Smart Watch Design for the Elder who Lives Alone - Focused on the Healthy Monitoring Service - 주저자 : 김영규 홍익대학교 대학원 제품디자인 전공 Youngkyu Kim Dept. of Product Design, Hongik university Graduate School 교신저자 : 이돈태 홍익대학교 산업미술대학원 교수 Dontae Lee Professor of Hongik University Graduate school of Industrial Art _____________________________________________________ 논문요약 본 연구는 독거노인을 위한 건강 모니터링 안전장치에 대하여 연구한다. 노인의 동거가족에 의해 노인에 대한 모니터링이 가능했던 과거와 다르게 현재 증가하는 독거노인의 경우에는 동거가족을 대체할 안전장치가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이에 대한 안전장치로 트렌드 스마트 워치 디자인을 제안한다. 기존의 건강 모니터링 기기 및 응급 호출기는 식별이 어려운 디스플레이와 사용방법에 의해 실제적 응급 상황 시의 활용성과 효율성이 떨어진다. 또한 노인의 스마트폰 비율이 증가하고 있는 실정에도 불구하고 이에 따른 기존 제품들의 호환이 불가능하다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 실제 사용자인 노인을 대상으로 실시한 설문조사를 바탕으로, 디스플레이의 가시성 향상 및 버튼의 단순화를 통해 사용자의 식별력 및 사용성을 향상하고, 실제 사용자들이 요구하는 다양한 기능 등을 반영한 트렌드 스마트 워치 디자인을 제안하였다. 이는 증가하는 노인 인구와 이에 따른 독거노인의 증가로 인한 안전사고를 미연에 예방하며 더불어 사고가 발생했을 때에도 쉬운 대처가 가능하게 한다. 주제어 독거노인, 트렌드 스마트 워치, 건강 모니터링 Abstract This research studies trendy smart watch design for elders who live alone. A safty device is needed to substitute cohabitting family who used to monitor elders in the past. Some problems are detected in existing health monitoring devices and emergency alarming devices. Their usability and effectiveness are not satisfactory since actions like pressing a button are required to be taken by elders themselves in an actual emergency situation. Another weakness of existing devices is their incompatibility to smartpones, despite increasing number of smartphone use by elders. This research has a significance in preventing safety accidents casued by a rise in the number of elders who live alone, accelerated by aging population.
