| 내용 | 효제문자도의 孝字圖를 응용한 텍스타일 및 어린이 원복 디자인 개발 Textile and Kindergarten Uniform Design Applying the Techniques of the Character 'Hyo' (孝) in the HyojeMunjado 주저자 : 장현주 제주대학교 의류학과 부교수 Jang hyun-joo Jeju National University 교신저자 : 고순희 제주대학교 의류학과 시간강사 Ko soon-hee Jeju National University _______________________________________________________________ 논문요약 효제문자도 기본 이미지의 재해석을 통해 효제문자도 문화원형의 가치를 쉽게 인식하고 효도를 최소한의 예의를 다하는 것으로 생각하고 실천했다. 바쁜 현대 사회에서 진정한 효의 개념을 상기시키기 위해서 효자도에 나타난 색상, 문양, 서체, 표현기법 특성을 응용하여 오방색 및 오간색의 상생관계 배색을 응용하여 음양오행사상을 강조하며 길상적인 상징성이 있는 텍스타일패턴으로 개발하였다. 효자는 효제문자도의 첫 번째 문자이기도 하고 가정의 대표적인 윤리로서 어린이들이 착용하는 유치원의 원복 패턴에 매우 적합할 것으로 생각되어 어린이 유치원복 4점을 제작했으며 디자인할 때 가장 고려한 점은 어린이들이 다양한 활동을 하는데 불편함이 없도록 기능성을 최대한으로 고려했다. 이상 효제문자도의 효자도의 조형성 발굴을 통한 텍스타일 및 어린이 원복 디자인개발에 관한 연구는 한국의 전통 문화원형을 현대적 시각에서 재해석한 패션상품의 중요한 자원이 될 수 있음을 다시 확인할 수 있었으며 본 연구와 같이 한국의 전통문화원형을 활용한 상품개발을 통해 한국의 전통 문화원형 이미지의 재해석이 가능한 패션문화상품 개발이 더욱 활발해질 것으로 기대한다. 주제어 텍스타일 디자인, 어린이 유치원복 디자인, 효제문자도 Abstract The first character in the HyojeMunjado, ‘孝’ (Korean: hyo, Chinese: xiao), meaning 'filial piety', the basic family virtue, can be a suitable subject of Kindergarten Uniform. This study develops the motifs and textile patterns through the application of the character ‘孝’, the first virtue among the eight Confucian virtues—Xiao (孝, filial piety), Ti (悌, brotherly love), Zhong (忠, loyalty), Xin (信, integrity), Li (禮, propriety), Yi (義, righteousness), Lian (廉, honesty), and Chi (恥, sense of right and wrong). The character ‘孝’ depicts an offspring (子) carrying one’s old parent (老) on one’s back, meaning the offspring fulfills one’s duty as holding one’s parent in respect. Each character in the HyojeMunjado has objects, animals or plants representing its meaning, or related episodes, historical events or anecdotes as a part of the strokes, or inside or outside of the character. The character ‘孝' displays a variety of characteristic techniques—including bird’s-head-like, flying white, italic, curvy, and graphic ones, distinctive features of which are applied to the textile pattern development in this study.
