Dept. of Design & Art _______________________________________________________________ 논문요약 본 논문은 여수엑스포 현대자동차관에 2012년 발표된 대형 키네틱 랜드스케이프 작품 “하이퍼매트릭스”의 개념 기반인 랜드스케이프 건축에 대한 이해를 먼저 학습하고, 보다 진화된 실행 이론인 랜드스케이프 어바니즘을 몇몇 사례와 함께 탐구한다. 랜드스케이프 어바니즘의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 '판(plate)의 조작'이 기획 과정에 끼친 세세한 영향과 논리적 기반들을 밝히며, 랜드스케이프 건축이 디지털 테크놀로지 받아들이며 리스펀시브 아키텍쳐(responsive architecture)로 발전되어가며, 오늘날 미디어아트와 같은 지향점인 상호작용의 플랫폼에서 만날 수밖에 없는 수많은 방점에 대해 논한다. 또한 키네틱 랜드스케이프 작품으로서의 개괄적인 의미와 완성된 다이나믹 디스플레이로 발전하고 실현되기까지의 실천적 과정을 의미론적으로 접근한다. 주제어 미디어아트, 키네틱아트, 랜드스케이프 Abstract This thesis is about the kinetic landscape installation, Hyper-Matrix that first showed in Yeosu Expo in Korea, 2012. We first look through the strong but careful influence which the basic concept of the landscape architecture has had on the conceptual basis of the Hyper-Matrix.
