| 내용 | 크리스찬 디올 컬렉션에 나타난 존 갈리아노 작품의 조형적 특성 - 2006 S/S ~ 2010 F/W 오뜨꾸뛰르를 중심으로- The Formative Characterastics of John Galliano's Works which Appears in the Christian Dior Collections - Based on 2006 S/S ~ 2010 F/W Haute Couture - 주저자 : 서지영 경상대학교 의류학과 박사과정 Suh Ji Young Gyeongsang Natioanal University 교신저자 : 임지영 경상대학교 의류학과 부교수 Lim Ji Young Gyeongsang National University ______________________________________________________ 논문요약 현대 패션의 빠른 흐름 속에서 대중이 원하는 것을 미리 알고 유행을 선도하기 위해서는 디자이너들의 작품 경향을 파악하고 어떻게 응용할 것인가가 중요한 과제가 된다. 그 중에서도 오래되고 노숙한 이미지를 가지고 있던 크리스찬 디올은 존 갈리아노를 디렉터로 영입함으로써 그만의 개성을 덧입힌 크리스찬 디올의 우아하고 여성스러운 이미지를 새롭게 어필하고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 크리스찬 디올사의 오뜨꾸뛰르 컬렉션에 나타난 존 갈리아노 작품의 특성을 파악하는 것이며, 연구내용은 패션디자인의 기초가 되는 형태, 색, 소재의 3요소에 중점을 두어 존 갈리아노 작품의 조형적 특성을 분석하는 것이다. 연구 방법으로는 영국 보그 사이트를 기준으로 2006 S/S부터 2010 F/W까지의 크리스찬 디올 오뜨꾸뛰르 컬렉션에 나타난 의상 374벌을 수집하였으며, 각각의 사진들을 형태의 실루엣과 디테일, 색채의 색상, 톤 그리고 배색, 소재의 무늬와 재질감을 포함한 체크리스트를 이용해 체크한 후 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 이러한 연구의 결과, 크리스찬 디올 오뜨꾸뛰르 컬렉션에서의 존 갈리아노 작품의 특징으로는 선대의 디자이너인 크리스찬 디올의 디자인을 차용하여 여성의 아름다운 인체미를 살리는 실루엣과 부드럽고 은은한 색상을 사용하면서 때로는 존 갈리아노의 특징인 강렬한 색상의 대비를 포인트로 사용하였다. 이러한 시대를 대표하는 디자이너의 작품 속에 표현된 디자인의 각 요소를 분석하는 것은 새로운 디자인 전개에 앞서 필요한 하나의 과정이며, 이를 통한 디자이너의 미적 가치와 이미지를 분석하는데 기초적인 자료라고 할 수 있다. 주제어 크리스찬 디올, 존 갈리아노, 조형적 특성 Abstract It is important task to recognize the trends of the works of designers and to decide on methods to apply these trends in order to be aware ahead of time of what the public wants and to be a leader in setting the latest trends in the midst of the fast changes of modern fashion. Christian Dior with its old and mature image has recruited John Galliano as the director and is providing a new appeal with elegance and femininity of Christian Dior products that has his personality on the products. Thus, the purpose of this study is to recognize the characteristics of the work of John Galliano that appears in the Christian Dior Haute Couture Collections and to analyze the formative characteristics of John Galliano's works by centering on the 3 elements of form, color and materials that are fundamental to fashion design. As research methods, 374 pieces of clothing that appeared in the Christian Dior Collection from Spring/ Summer 2006 to Fall/ Winter 2010 according to the Vogue website of Great Britain were selected and an analysis of the frequency of appearance of the silhouette and the details of the shapes, the hues of the colors, the tone and arrangement of colors, the patterns and texture of the materials was conducted by utilizing a checklist. Based on the results of this study, the characteristics of the works of John alliano in the Christian Dior Haute Couture Collection revealed a silhouette that made the beauty of the female body come alive using soft and delicate colors by borrowing from the design of his predecessor Christian Dior and the strong contrast of colors which are characteristic of John Galliano works that were utilized to make a statement. To analyze each of the elements that have been expressed in the works of a designer who defines an era of fashion is one of the processes that are required prior to an introduction of a design and it can be considered that this study will be basic research material in analyzing the values and image of the designer as well.
