| 내용 | 담양군 창평면 슬로시티의 경관디자인 특성에 관한 연구 A Study on Analysis of Townscape Characteristics of Slow City in Changpyeong, Damyang-gun 문 선 욱 청운대학교 인테리어디자인학과 교수 Sun Wook Moon Department of Interior Design, Chungwoon University ----------------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 슬로시티는 인간과 자연 환경의 속도를 존중하고, 지역성과 전통성에 기초한 삶을 유지하여, 환경과 경관의 위협에 맞서는 운동이다. 본 연구는 도시형 슬로시티인 담양군 창평면 슬로시티를 대상으로, 경관자원 과 경관부문별 현황특성을 도출하고, 정체성 있는 슬로시티 경관을 지속적으 로 유지하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다. 분석결과를 보면, 창평면 슬로시티는 비옥한 토지와 뛰어난 자연을 배경으로 한 집적화된 전통가옥과 돌담길 등 독특한 경관자원을 보유하고 있으며, 특히 삼지내 마을은 편측중심으로 환형의 축을 가짐으로써 기성시가지와는 섬과 같 이 독립적으로 분리되어 있다. 부문별 주요 특성으로는 개선의 노력이 보임에 도 불구하고, 철저한 고증 없이 현대적 재료로 정비된 돌담, 벽체, 지붕, 대문 등으로 청결하지만 어색함을 자아냈으며, 빈 가옥 등 관리의 허술함도 보였다. 또한 기성시가지 및 마을 내 혼재되어 있는 근현대식 건축물과 시설물의 무분 별한 자극적인 색채사용은 경관의 부조화를 가져오고 있다. 따라서 전통경관의 이미지를 지키기 위해서는 철저한 고증을 통한 친환경적 원 형의 전통재료와 전통가공법 및 전통디자인을 계승한 디자인을 통해 연차적인 보수 및 유지관리가 모색되어야 한다. 이를 위해서는 자발적이며 지속적인 목 표를 설정하여, 장단기 로드맵에 의해 순차적이고 서두름이 없는 일관성 있는 경관디자인 정책과 실행이 필요하다. 우선 그 일환으로 경관가이드라인 및 지 침을 수립하고, 차츰 삼지내 마을은 물론 창평면 전 지역에 확대하여 적용함으 로써, 전통과 기성시가지의 근현대 구조물과의 이질적인 혼재를 서서히 개선해 나가야 한다. 또한 의식제고를 위한 지역민과 구성원에 대한 교육과 현실적인 재정마련방안을 모색하여, 주민의 자발적 참여에 의한 실행을 유도해야 한다. 주제어 슬로시티, 경관디자인, 풍토성, 전통성 Abstract Slow city movement based on vernacular and traditionality is respectful of human and nature and stands against a treat to the environment and townscape. The purpose of this study was to analyze townscape characteristics of slow city in Changpyeong, Damyang-gun and to propose the plan for continuous townscape’s identities. The results of the study are as follows. Slow city in Changpyeong has unique townscape resources; aggregation of Korean southern provinces traditional houses and alley by stone walls and so on. But despite the improvement of townscape, there are many clashes of colors or materials and weak points in management caused by no historical researches. Therefore slow city in Changpyeong should set up a goal to preserve traditional townscape images. It’s based upon the premise that is historical research. And it’s important that coherent townscape policy should carry out thoroughly. For putting a plan into practice first, it should set up design code and guideline. And then application of area should expand all Changpyeong. Those processes should be gradually improved to harmonize the traditional and the modern characteristics. In addition, it is clearly necessary to educate all members, and to assist realistic finance for attracting voluntary participation from residents.
