| 내용 | 리인커네이션 개념을 적용한 패션디자인의 표현 양상 The expressive features of Fashion Design applying The Concept of Reincarnation 김 유 경 경희대학교 의상학과 시간강사 Kim Yoo-kyoung Kyung Hee University ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 현대 디자이너는 인간과 함께 존재하는 모든 환경, 문화 등을 영감으로 새로운 모습으로 재탄생시켜 주고 있다. 끊임없이 원본과 복제에 대한 재생산을 통해 패션 디자인 또한 순환하는 재탄생의 표현 양상을 보여주고 있다. 그 근본에 ‘리인커네이션’ 즉 환생이라는 내재적 개념이 내재되어있다. 따라 서 과거부터 현재까지 끊임없이 디자이너의 창의적 개발 욕구를 가속화 시켜 새로운 예술품으로 탄 생시켜주는 리인커네이션 개념은 그 변화와 방법에 무한한 가치를 가진 개념으로 디자인 발상에 주 요 역할자를 담당한다. 따라서 리인커네이션이션 개념과 관련한 패션디자인에 대한 연구는 필요하다. 예술적 측면에서 팝아트, 지속가능한 디자인, 패러디, 복고 등은 리인커네이션 개념을 적용하여 디 자인에서 창의적인 양상을 보여주고 있다. 첫째, 팝아트 패션디자인은 일상과 관련한 모든 오브제와 인물을 새로운 문화를 대변하는 아이콘으 로 재탄생 시켜 주었다. 또한 과거 예술적으로 가치를 인정받지 못했던 그라피티, 만화 등은 디자이 너의 철학적인 사고와 결합되어 대중문화의 현재를 대변하는 기호로 재탄생된다. 둘째, 패션디자이 너의 자연환경, 현재와 미래에 대한 지각에 의해 중요한 개발 과제로 나타난 지속가능한 디자인은 리인커네이션 개념과 함께 일회성 폐품 등 무가치한 오브제가 미적 가치를 부여받은 예술적 오브제 로 재탄생된다. 인간과 미래에 대한 삶을 조명한 영원한 삶을 추구하는 철학은 리인커네이션 개념 으로 지속적으로 환생하는 것이다. 셋째, 패러디 패션디자인에서 리인커네이션 개념은 디자이너의 포괄적·창의적 사고와 결합하여 미술과 패션이 융합하는 표현 양상을 보여주고 있다. 넷째, 복고 패션디자인과 리인커네이션의 결합은 현재 사회, 문화적인 환경을 반영한 상징기호로 패션디자인 을 재탄생 시켜주고 있다. 이상과 같이 예술적 측면에서 다양한 시각으로 전개되고 있는 리인커네이션 개념은 패션디자인에 서 디자이너의 창의적 사고의 역할자를 담당하며 다양한 양상으로 나타나고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구를 통해 리인커네이션 개념이 패션디자인에 적용되어 보다 창의적인 발상에 도움이 되는 개념으로서, 향후 지속적인 연구가 이루어지기를 바라며 선행 연구로 도움이 되길 바란다. 주제어 리인커네이션, 재창조, 창의적 발상 Abstract The emergence of modern design is closely associated with repetition of the process to transform every element existing with humanity into new forms. Through endless reproduction of the original and duplication, fashion design is showing expressive features of circulating rebirth. There exists the concept of reincarnation in its very foundation. The concept of reincarnation which makes it possible for new arts to appear keeping speeding up designers' desires for creative development from the past to the present involves a notion having infinite values in its change and methods, and plays a key role in design development. From artistic perspective, pop art, sustainable design, parody, retro style etc. apply the concept of reincarnation to show creative features in design. First, pop art fashion design transformed all the objets and figures related to daily life into icons to represent new culture. In addition, graffiti, cartoons etc. whose artistic values were not recognized in the past are reborn as signs to symbolize the present of popular culture as they are combined with the designers' philosophical thinking. Second, in the natural environment where the fashion designer belongs, sustainable design which has appeared as an important task for development by perception of the present and the future transformed worthless objets including disposable waste etc. into artistic objets which are given aesthetic values, with the help of the concept of reincarnation. The philosophy of pursuing eternal life elucidating the humanity and life for the future is reborn continuously as the concept of reincarnation. Third, the notion of reincarnation in fashion design of parody is combined with the designer's comprehensive and creative thinking to be characteristic of the expressive aspect that art and fashion are united. Fourth, the combination of retro-style fashion design and reincarnation is recreating fashion design into a symbolic sign to reflect the current social and cultural environments. As mentioned above, the concept of reincarnation which is being evolved in a variety of angles from artistic perspective plays a role in creative thinking by the designer in fashion design and takes on a variety of features. Therefore, we hope that through the present study, the concept of reincarnation will be applied to fashion design as a notion which is helpful to creative ways of thinking, and that it will be able to be employed usefully as a precedent study for follow-up studies in the future.
