| 내용 | 3D 프로젝션 매핑 작품에 나타난 그래픽 요소의 유형에 관한 연구 A Study on Types of Graphic Elements Shown in 3D Projection Mapping Artworks 황 용 회 중앙대학교 첨단영상대학원 예술공학전공 Yong-Haei Hwang Art & Technology, Professional Graduate Schools, Chung Ang University ---------------------------------------------------------------- 논문요약 기존에 연구되었던 프로젝션 매핑작품들은 기하학 형태의 그래픽 요소가 주로 사용되어 심미성을 강조 한 작품이 대다수이다. 프로젝션 매핑과 같은 뉴미디 어의 초기에는 미디어 형식을 이용한 표현방법이 효 과적이지만 미디어의 접촉이 빈번해지고 미디어의 신 비함이 사라지게 되면 미디어의 특성보다는 스토리텔 링에 의한 내용의 비중을 높이는 것이 대안으로 제시 될 수 있다. 기하학적 도형만을 이용한 시각효과에 치중하는 구성에서 벗어나 내러티브 그래픽 요소를 이용한 스토리텔링의 비중을 조절하여 시각적 효과와 연상 작용을 통한 감정유발을 동시에 연출하는 것이 효과적인 방법으로 판단된다. 또한 영상편집과 영화 의 몽타주기법을 통하여 프로젝션 매핑이 가지는 공 간성을 효과적으로 활용한다면 관객들은 시각적인 충 격을 넘어 감성적인 영역으로의 전달이 강화될 것으 로 예상된다. 본 논문은 시간의 흐름에 따라 변화하 는 관객의 감성변화를 예측하여 개선된 프로젝션 매 핑의 제작 방향을 제시하고자 한다. 주제어 프로젝션 매핑, 그래픽 요소, 내러티브 Abstract Previously studied projection mapping artworks excessively highlighted appreciation of the aethetic because the graphic elements of geometric shapes are excessively used. An expression way using a media form was effective at the beginning of the new media such as a projection mapping. However, increasing weight of contents by a storytelling could be suggested as an alternative rather than characteristics of the media if media contacts became frequent and the mystery of the media disappeared. It was judged to be an effective method that visual effect and emotion induction through association action were shown at the same time by adjusting weight of a storytelling which narrative graphic elements were used out of a composition focused on visual effect using only a geometrical figure. It was expected that the transfer into emotional area would be reinforced to audience across visual shock if extensity of a projection mapping was effectively used through vision edition and the montage technique of a movie. This study suggested the production direction of an improved projection mapping by predicting an emotional change of audience changed according to the flow of time.
