| 내용 | 공간적 가구 중에서 인지적 영역성을 형성하는 가구디자인에 관한 연구 -연구자의 작품 <Stool with Partition 1,2,3>을 중심으로- A Study on Furniture Design which are Creating Cognitive Territoriality in Spatial Furniture - Focused on Author's Work <Stool with Partition 1,2,3> - 김 진 우 건국대학교 디자인조형대학 실내디자인과 조교수 Kim, Jinwoo Department of Interior Design, Konkuk University * 이 논문은 건국대학교 학술진흥연구비 지원에 의한 논문임 -------------------------------------- 1. 서 론 1.1 목적과 배경 1.2 내용과 방법 2. 공간적 가구 2-1. 건축적 요소+가구의 기능 2-2. 가구=공간 3. 공간과의 관계적 특성: 물리적, 인지적 영역성4. 인지적 영역성을 형성하는 가구디자인의 사례 3-1. 매킨토시와 라이트의 하이백 의자 3-2. 하디드의 심리스 컬렉션 5. 연구자의 작품 <Stool with Partition 1,2,3> 4-1. 개념 4-2. 분석 6. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 본 연구의 목적은 인지적 영역성을 형성하는 가구디자인의 사례에 대한 이론적 고찰을 기반으로 하여 연구자의 작품(Stool with Partition 1,2,3)을 분석하고 특징을 도출하는데 있다. 인지적 영역성이란 공간을 분할하는 물리적인 장치인 바닥, 벽, 천정, 파티션, 기둥 등 물리적인 요소를 사용하지 않고도 공간을 시각적, 감성적으로 분할하며 형성되는 영역성을 의미하며 본 논문에서는 물리적 영역성과 대비되는 개념으로 사용했다. 연구의 방법으로는 공간적 가구를 유형별로 분류하고 각 유형에 대한 특징을 서술한 후 물리적 영역성과 인지적 영역성에 대한 이론적 고찰을 해당사례와 함께 비교하여 서술했으며, 4장에서 인지적 영역성을 형성하는 가구의 사례로 찰스 레니 매킨토시(Charles Rennie Mackintosh, 1868-1928), 프랭크 로이드 라이트(Frank Lloyd Wright, 1867–1959), 자하 하디드(Zaha Hadid, 1950- )의 가구에 대해 서술했다. 5장에서는 연구자의 작품 개념을 표현의 매개체로서의 가구, 유연한 경계영역을 통한 예술의 대중화, 편안하고 자연스러운 아름다움 표출 등으로 나누어 서술했으며 최종적으로 작품을 조형적, 구조적, 기능적 관점에서 분석하고 그 결과를 유기적 불확정적 조형, 가변적 구조, 공간을 감성적으로 구획하는 기능으로 도출했다. 주제어 인지적 영역성, 가구디자인, Stool with Partition 1,2,3 Abstract This study attempted to discuss the features of furniture design forming the cognitive territoriality by selecting the furniture from design history and author's work titled <Stool with Partition 1,2,3> as the subjects. The cognitive territoriality means the territoriality that enables the visual and emotional division of space and independent use of space without using the architectural elements in the space. This study applied the cognitive territoriality as the concept against the physical territoriality. As the methodology, the physical territoriality and cognitive territoriality were compared for theoretic examination. The furniture created by Charles Rennie Mackintosh(1868-1928), Frank Llyod Wright(1867-1959), and Zaha Hadid(1950- ) were investigated as the cases forming the cognitive territoriality in Chapter 4. Chapter 5 analyzed author's works in accordance with the development and production process around the concept of works. The concepts of these works were fragmented into furniture as the medium of expression, pursuing the popularization of arts creating the furniture with soft edges, and comfortable and natural beauty. The results from the formative, structural and functional analyses on the works were explained as the organic and indeterminate formation, variable structure, and function to sensibly divide the space.
