| 내용 | 밀라노 국제 가구 박람회를 통해본 의자 소재 변화에 대한 분석 The Materials trend of the chair through the Milan International Furniture Fair 주저자 : 오세환 연세대학교 대학원 생활디자인학과 석사 Oh, Sehwan Yonsei niversity 교신저자 : 박영순 연세대학교 생활디자인학과 교수, 이학박사 Park, Young-Soon Yonsei university ======================================== 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구 문제 2. 본 론 2-1. 분석대상 선정 2-2. 샘플 수집 대상의 선정 2-3. 의자 구조에 따른 소재의 분류체계 2-4 의자 구조와 소재 분석틀 3. 의자디자인의 구조 유형별 소재 특성 3-1. 의자 소재 종합 분석 3-2. 구조 재료의 특성 3-3. 충진 재료의 특성 3-4. 표면 재료의 특성 3-5. 요 약 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 의자를 디자인함에 있어서 소재란 매우 중요한 요소 중의 하나이다. 이는 인체와 직접 접촉해야 하기 때문이기도 하지만 사용자의 제출을 지탱해야 하는 구조적인 측면까지도 고려해야 하기 때문이다. 본 연구는 의자디자인의 소재가 크게 변화된 2000년대 이후 최근 9년 동안의 의자디자인의 소재변화의 특성을 분석하여 의자디자인을 구현하는데 활용하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하려는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구의 범위는 2000년부터 2008년의 대표적 가구 디자인 전시인 밀라노 국제 가구 박람회의 디자인 관에 출시된 회사 중 1차 대상 선정기준인 평판등급 1,2위의 회사와 2차 대상 선정기준을 거친 72개의 회사의 의자 386개를 추출하였다. 분석을 위해 의자의 구조를 구조재, 충진재, 표면재로 나누고 재료의 분류 기준을 마련하여 소재를 선별하였다. 이렇게 선별된 소재는 총 44가지로 이를 대분류인 목재, 금속, 화학, 섬유, 가죽으로 나누어 분석하였다. 의자디자인에 사용되는 구조재료는 금속이 가장 많았으며, 충진 재료에는 화학재가 압도적으로 많은 수를 차지하고 있었다. 마감 재료에서는 섬유와 가죽이 대표적인 소재였으며, 금속재에서는 크롬이 많이 사용되었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 앞으로 근 미래의 의자디자인의 소재는 구조재를 중심으로 한 다양한 화학재료들이 발전할 것으로 예상한다. 주제어 (의자, 소재, 디자인, 밀라노 국제 가구 박람회) Abstract One of the most essential components in chair design is the material being used. This defines the practicality, comfortableness and the supportability of the chair. Therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze the material trend of the chair through the Milan International Furniture Fair (which is the most renowned International Furniture Fair) from the year 2000 to 2008. For this study, 386 chairs have been chosen from 72 companies according to its popularity and ranking records. For a thorough analysis of the materials the chair contains,has been classified into structures, filler and surface materials. The total materials used in contemporary chair design have been assorted. This assortment has been narrowed down to 44 different types of material, which have been categorized into wood, metal, chemical, textile and leather. Metal is mainly used as the structure of the chair design and the majority of the filler materials consist of chemicals. Leather and fiber were the most popular materials that are used in a finishing product and chrome is mostly used as a finishing material for metal. The analysis of International chair design verified that chemical and metal are the most common materials used in contemporary chair design.
