| 내용 | 원시미술을 응용한 일러스트레이션 연구 Illustration through Primitive Art 주저자 : 김혜경 동덕여자대학교 의상디자인학과 교수 Kim Hye Kyoung Dongduk Women‘s University Professor 공동저자 : 임수은 단국대학교 예술조형대학 패션학과 외래강사 Lim Soo Eun Dankook University Lecturer =============================================== 1. 서 론 2. 이론적 배경 2-1. 원시미술의 이론적 배경 2-2. 일러스트레이션의 일반적 고찰 3. 원시미술의 조형연구 3-1. 원시미술의 공간 3-2. 원시미술의 색채 3-3. 원시미술의 문양 및 디테일 4. 작품 제작 4-1. 작품 제작 의도 및 방법 5. 결론 참고문헌 논문요약 21세기는 최첨화된 미디어의 발달과 정보화의 물결로 급진적인 진보와 초스피드적인 생활을 영위하고 있지만 정신적으로는 단순함을 추구하고 있다. 잠시도 쉴 수 없는 시대를 살아가는 현대인들에게 단순함과 느림의 미학은 쉼터 이상의 의미를 지닌다. 원시미술의 자연 본질적 이미지 표현에서 현대인들의 회귀 본능을 자극하는 것에 충분함을 보여주고 문자발생이전의 사회에서 예술은 커뮤니케이션의 기능을 담당했기에 더 강렬한 이미지 전달의 힘을 가졌으리라 짐작해본다. 이러한 일러스트레이션의 효시라고 말할 수 있는 원시시대의 동굴 벽화에서의 기원을 찾아 원시미술의 개념과 이해를 연구하고 감정이나 사상을 시각화하여 대중에게 설명하는 일러스트레이션의 역사적 의의와 원초적 개념의 상관성을 가지고 원시미술의 공간, 색채와 문양을 응용한 일러스트레이션 개발을 통하여 과학문명으로 발달된 복잡하고 기계화된 현대생활에 단순한 장식적 문양과 현대 장식적 표현의 가능성을 모색하여 순수하고 원시적 감각의 에콜러지한 감성을 자극함으로써 현대인의 요구에 부응하는 창의적 일러스트레이션 개발의 모태로 자리매김 할 것으로 기대한다. 주제어 원시미술, 일러스트레이션, 문양 Abstract In the 21st century, culture has advanced and improved rapidly into the wave of information and high-tech media. People today live in an era that is highly complex, mechanized, and fast-paced. However, people seek simplicity in their minds. The origin of cave paintings of the primitive age which is thought to be the beginning of such illustration was examined. Through its concept and comprehension, a new territory should be established by searching the possibility of simple patterns and modern expression with geometric images and colors that cannot be seen through the naked eye. It is vital to visualize sentiments or ideas through interrelationship between historical significance of illustration described by the general public and the primitive concept. The seven works presented in this thesis adapted various images and details of primitive art such as body decorations, mask decorations, architectural decorations and etc. I also have emphasized the primitiveness through analysis of representation of worn-out and faded colors, barren earth color, the color of the desert, the color of a rusted steel and etc. Those colors are analyzed by using primary colors like red, yellow and green. Through the exploitation of illustration with colors, as a decorative element and symbolical patterns of primitive art, I hope to stimulate ecologic sentiment of pure and primitive senses in the world of scientifically civilized and complex modern life and satisfy the needs of modern people. key words primitive art, illustration, pattern |
