| 내용 | 부산역 광장 공공디자인에 대한 평가 연구 - 한․일간 인식 차이점과 유사점에 관한 비교 연구 - The Evaluation of Public Design of Busan Railway Station Square - A Comparative Study Between Korean and Japanese Users - 주저자 : 박재덕 동서대학교 디자인전문대학원 환경디자인전공 Park jae-duck Graduate School of Design, Dongseo University 교신저자 : 윤지영 동서대학교 환경디자인학과 교수 Yoon ji-young Dept. of Environment Design, Dongseo University *본 연구는 동서대학교 BK21 에코디자인 인력양성사업팀의 지원을 받았음. ======================================================= 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구 배경 및 목적 1-2. 연구 내용 및 방법 2. 이론적 배경 2-1. 광장의 정의 및 특성 2-2. 역전광장의 특성 및 기능 2-3. 공공디자인의 개념 및 영역 3. 부산역 광장의 공공디자인 현황 분석 3-1. 부산역 광장의 현황 및 이용자 분석 3-2. 부산역 광장의 공간 및 시설물 특성 4. 부산역 광장 공공디자인 인식 조사 4-1. 조사내용 및 설문 항목 4-2. 모니터 요원 특성 4-3. 공간별 설문 결과 4-4. 소결 5. 결론 및 제언 참고문헌 논문요약 역사적으로 한국의 근․현대사와 운명을 같이 해온 부산역은 60여 년간 소통과 교류의 공간으로 활기찬 생명력을 지녔으나, 역전광장에 대해서는 구체적인 계획이나 지침, 규모, 및 시설배치에 대한 산정방식이 없는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 부산역 광장의 구체적인 문제점과 공공적 가치의 특성을 발견하고 광장의 지역적 아이덴티티를 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법으로 한국인과 일본인을 60명 선발하여, 부산역 광장 체험을 통한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 일본인의 경우, 부산역 광장전체에 대해 "지역의 상징이 되고 있다", "부산시를 대표하는 역으로서 적격이다", "기분 좋은 경관을 형성하고 있다" 등의 문항에서 긍정적 평가가 있었다. “공간의 일체감 및 청결도”의 문항과, “안내표시판이 잘 보이지 않는다”, “승강장 주변 이용에 있어서 몸이 부자유스러운 사람이나 노인에게는 불편하다”등의 지적이 있었다. 한국인의 경우 "부산의 역사, 풍토, 문화를 느낄 수 있다"라는 항목에서 "그렇지 않다"라는 의견이 상대적으로 많았으며, 이는 일본인의 평가와는 상대적으로 차이를 보였다. "쉴 수 있는 공간이 충분히 있다" 등 쾌적성과 관련된 항목과 “위험요소의 유무”에 관해서는 양 국가 모두 유사한 수치를 보였으며, “도시 고유의 개성과 정체성을 갖는 아이덴티티(Identity)형성”이 시급히 필요하다는 지적이 컸다. 본 연구를 위해 실시한 한․일 공동조사는 추후, 국제도시의 이미지 확립에 기여할 부산역 광장 마스터플랜(Master Plan)수립에 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 사료된다. 주제어 부산역, 광장, 공공디자인, 공간평가, 공공시설물, 교통시설, 편의시설, 공급시설 Abstract A railway station and its square reflect the city image and cultural background of the city. This is why the public design of the representative railway square of a city is regarded so important. Busan railway station has a large square for the citizen and visitors to provide rest, meeting, greening area with over 50 years history. This study aims at exploring the present condition of Busan railway station square including public facilities and circulations, and analyzing how people consider the public design of its square. For the survey questionnaire, 30 Koreans and 30 Japanese were selected and visited the site and experienced the space and facilities. Findings show that there are many problems in total unity of image, cleanness, management, expression of local identity and universal design. Also there are some important differences between Koreans and Japanese, who are more positive of public facilities of Busan Station square. The results will be very helpful to understand the problems of the square and suggest a new guideline for the design of the square in relation with expression local identity and the feeling of the visitors and residents.
