Design Curator ======================================================= 1. 서 론 1-1. 연구목적 1-2. 연구 방법과 범위 2. 교과서의 편집디자인 2-1. 교과서와 편집디자인의 이해 2-1-1. 교과서의 구분 2-1-2. 교육과정에 따른 분류 2-1-3. 편집디자인의 개념 2-2. 교과서 편집디자인의 필요성 2-2. 한글의 가독성이 교과서 편집디자인에 미치 는 영향 3. 한글과 교과서 편집디자인의 상호관계 3-1. 한글의 조형적 특징 3-1-1. 형태적 특성 3-1-2. 구조적 특성 3-1-3. 공간적 특성 3-2. 교과서의 구조와 한글의 미학적 조합 3-2-1. 교과서와 한글의 조합 3-2-2.한글을 활용한 편집디자인 실험 분석 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 교과서는 교육과정에 따라 교수·학습을 하기 위한 기본 자료로서, 교과 영역의 학습 내용을 체계적으로 담은 책자이다. 따라서 교육과정에 따라 선정·조직된 내용을 단순화하여 배우기 쉽고, 읽히기 쉬운 편집을 통하여 제시하는 것을 교과서의 가장 중요한 기능으로 삼아야 한다. 이것은 학습 및 행동과정이 효율적으로 이루어지도록 도움을 주기 위한 학습동기 유발 등 기본적인 교과서의 가독성이 절대적으로 필요함을 의미 한다. 교과서에 있어서 가독성은 학생들이 읽고 이해하기 쉽게 만드는 요소이다. 따라서 문자는 체계적이고 복합적인 타이포그라피로 거듭나야 한다. 타이포그라피는 전달하려는 메시지를 학생들이 알기 쉽게 기호화하는 과정의 일이다. 그러므로 우리나라 교과서의 타이포그라피를 다루는 사람, 즉 교과서 편집디자이너는 타이포그라피 디자인을 함에 있어 한글이 가지는 가독성 외에, 반드시 미학적 속성을 고려해야 한다는 것은 필수적이다. 한글은 정보전달과 의사소통의 문자에서 이미지로, 이미지에서 포괄적 개념의 가독성을 지닌 뛰어난 디자인 요소가 될 수 있다. 따라서 연구자는 본 논문에서 한글을 통해 교과서의 가독성을 높이기 위한 편집디자인을 아래와 같이 분석·연구 하였다. 교과서의 편집디자인에서는 교과서와 편집디자인의 개념과 특징을 파악하고 교과서의 성격과 교육과정에 따라 의미를 정리하였다. 편집디자인의 기본적인 기능과 개념도 서술하여 앞으로 교과서에서 전개되어야 할 편집디자인의 역할을 제시하였으며 교과서 편집디자인의 필요성과 기본적으로 갖추어야 할 가독성 및 심미성에 대해 서술하였다. 한글과 교과서 편집디자인의 상호관계에서는 한글의 조형적 특징을 한글 본연의 형태요소와 구조·공간적요소로 나누어 서술하였으며 교과서의 특징과 규칙에 맞추어 한글의 조형성을 가미한 논자의 실험작을 예로 제시하였다. 결론에서는 본문에서 기술한 내용을 정리하고 향후 교과서 편집 디자인의 대란 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 교과서의 본문을 이루는 한글은 본연의 조형성을 바탕으로 더욱 전문적이고 세분화되어 학습자의 흥미를 지속적으로 유발시키며 학습효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 교과서 편찬 개발에 이바지 할 수 있어야 함을 역설하였다. 주제어 교과서, 한글, 편집디자인 ABSTRACT Textbook is a basic resource to teach, depending on the curriculum, which contains systematically sorted contents in that of specific field. Therefore, it is important to reselect and manipulate the chosen material to become simpler, and more attractive depending on, the curriculum. This means that to help study and activity to become more productive, the legibility of textbook is critical in order to encourage the student to study. The legibility in the context of textbook is the key point for student to understand the contents easier. Therefore, text should be reborn as systematic and complex typography. Typography is the initiating stage for student to understand the given information easier. Therefore, the one who conducts typography for the textbook, in other word the editorial designer, should consider the artistic element as well as the readability of Korean language when designing the typography. Moreover, it is critical to redesign Korean letters of native language to become, not only as a language to transfer the meanings but to become more visually artistic. The Korean language, the basic type style, can become text to transfer the meaning to image, image to superior mean with comprehensive concept of readability. As a result, writer has studied and analyzed editing design to increase the readability of textbook in this paper. In editorial design, author studied the concept and characteristic of a textbook and editorial design and has sorted it out depending on the characteristic of textbook and its curriculum. The concept of editorial design is described to suggest the role and concept of editorial design which should be carried out when making the textbook is described. In mutual relation of Korean language and editorial design, the structural characteristic of Korean language is described separately as structural element and space element. Author has suggested prototype textbook design in formative perspective of Korean language, yet still following the characteristic and rules of textbook. Keyword Textbook, Korean, editorial design |
