COOLPIX S200의 황금나선 분석 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 황금분할(Golden Section)은 고대 그리스시대부터 현재까지 사용되어 온 가장 합리적이고 이상적인 비율로, 이를 이용하여 황금사각형(Golden Rectangle)과 황금나선(Golden Spiral)을 만들 수 있다. 고대인들은 이러한 비율을 수학과 건축, 조각을 포함하는 미술에 응용해 왔고 오늘날에도 건축, 미술, 그리고 신용카드와 같은 실생활에 많이 사용되고 있다. 황금분할은 이처럼 인간이 느끼는 가장 편안한 비율로, 이 공식은 동물과 식물, 우주 등 자연계의 모든 대상을 포함한다. 현대를 사는 우리주변의 모든 대상들 역시 그것이 의도되었던 의도되지 않았던 분명 그 안에는 황금분할의 공식이 숨어있다. 따라서 오늘날 우리가 흔히 사용하는 디지털카메라의 디자인에서 황금분할 공식을 찾아보고, 그 안에 숨어있는 안정된 구조 속에서 발생하는 소비자들의 구매 욕구를 자극시킬 만한 요소들을 발견하였다. 이번 황금분할 분석에 사용된 디지털카메라는 2007년에 가장 인기가 있었던 모델 중에서 세 가지 모델을 선정하였는데, 그것은 캐논(社)의 ‘IXUS 75’와 펜탁스(社)의 ‘OPTIO M30’ 그리고 니콘(社)의 COOLPIX S200이다. 이 세 가지 모델의 앞면과 뒷면에 대한 황금사각형과 황금나선의 분석에서 많은 부분 일치하는 직선과 나선들이 발견되었다. 이러한 발견은 카메라가 가지고 있는 구조적내용을 배제한 황금비율에 국한된 내용으로, 시각적 요소에서 접근한 사실에 의해서 근거한다. 주제어 (황금분할, 황금사각형, 황금나선, 디지털카메라) Abstract Golden Section is the most reasonable and ideal proportion that has been used since the ancient Greek times to date, from which Golden Rectangle and Golden Spiral can be created. Ancient people applied this proportion to art activities including mathematics, architecture, and sculpture while it is also widely used today in practical life such as architecture, art, and even credit cards. Golden Section, in this way, is the proportion most comfortably appreciated and its formula entails all objects including animals, plants, universe, and the world of nature. All the subjects surrounding us in the present day have the formula of Golden Section in them whether intended or unintended. Accordingly, this paper examined the Golden Section in digital camera designs, one of the common items people use nowadays and discovered elements developed from within, the hidden stable structure, which could stimulate purchase desire of consumers. The three digital cameras used for this Golden Section analysis were randomly selected from the most popular models in 2007, that is, Cannon ‘IXUS 75’ and Pentax ‘OPTIO M30' and Nicon 'COOLPIX S200’. In the analysis of Golden Rectangle and Golden Spiral on the front and reverse of these three models, a number of straight lines and spirals were found consistent with the formula. The discovery is strictly restricted to Golden Section with a total exclusion of structural contents innate in the camera, based on the facts approached from the perspective of visual elements.
