| 내용 | 디지털 기술에 의한 이미지 변형의 미학적 의의 - 상상과 유희의 개념을 중심으로 - Some Aesthetic Significance of Image Transformation in Digital Process - Focusing on the Concept of Imagination and Play - 권익현 신구대학 정보미디어학부 사진영상미디어과 겸임교수 Kwon ik-hyon Shingu College ============================================== 1. 서 론 1-1. 문제 제기 1-2. 연구의 목적 및 방법 2. 디지털 사진에서의 이미지 변형 2-1. 이미지 변형의 사진사적 고찰 2-2. 디지털 사진의 재현 원리와 이미지 변형 3. 디지털 사진의 미학적 의의 3-1. 사진 개념의 변화 3-2. 상상과 유희로서의 디지털 사진 4. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 사진은 지난 170여 년간 많은 미학적 담론을 생성하며 예술의 영역에서 논의되었다. 사진은 객관적 리얼리티라는 관점에서 전통 회화와 대립하며 새로운 매체미학으로 인정받기 시작하였다. 그것은 ‘현실의 진실된 반영’이라는 재현적 기능을 기반으로 하고 있다. 이제 디지털 기술을 기반으로 하는 전자 복제 시대에서는 새로운 논의를 필요로 한다. 디지털 기술로 인한 사진의 가장 큰 특징은 손쉬운 이미지 변형이라 할 수 있을 것이다. 물론 전통 사진에서도 정치적 목적이나, 작가의 관념의 세계를 표현하기 위한 방법으로 이미지의 변형은 언제나 있어 왔다. 하지만 디지털 복제에 있어서는 이미지의 변형이 새로운 양상으로 전개된다. 우선 손쉬운 조작으로 이미지의 내적 변용 가성성이 확대되고, 생산 주체가 다변화됨으로써 사진의 객관성은 신뢰를 잃었다. 따라서 이제 사진은 노골적으로 허구를 드러내며 무한한 상상력과 변형의 유희를 즐기며 인터넷이라는 가상의 연결망을 통하여 수많은 관객과 만나는 소통의 유희를 즐긴다. 주제어 디지털 사진, 이미지 변형, 상상과 유희 Abstract For the last 170 years photography have been widely discussed in the field of art generating countless aesthetic debates. It has acquired its status as a new media from the perspective of objective reality, confronting the traditional painting. It has done its function of representing the reality based on reproduction technology. In the age of digital reproduction, however, it needs to be more widely discussed. One of the most important features of digital photography would be easier image transformation. Image transformation itself is not a new idea, of course. It has been used as a way of expressing the artist’s ideas or political propaganda. In the era of digital reproduction, however, it heads into new directions. First, its easier manipulation leads to much images variability. In addition, since the subjects of image production have varied, objectivity of photography can not be trusted. Now photography boldly reveal the falsehood and relish immeasurable imagination and the pleasure of transformation. Thanks to the Internet, it can also communicate with innumerable viewers.
