| 내용 | 2차원 이미지의 영상 공간으로의 확장 성향에 관한 연구 - 에드워드 호퍼의 작품들을 중심으로 - A Study of 2D images toward the tendency of extension for the motion picture space ; mainly with the works of Edward Hopper 김인철 전주비전대학 시각디자인과 교수 Kim, Inchul Vision College of Jeonju ======================================= 1. 서 론 2. 전제 - 영상 공간의 확장으로 본 이미지 2-1. 역사적 근거 2-2. 공간과 이미지 2-3. 영상적 공간으로의 전개 3. 에드워드 호퍼에 대하여 3-1. 작가에 대하여 3-2. 호퍼의 이미지들 4. 호퍼의 작품들에 나타난 영상 공간으로의 확장성 분석 5. 결 론 참고문헌 논문요약 인류는 태생과 더불어 커뮤니케이션을 위한 삶을 살아왔다. 작금의 모든 기술이 거의 이를 위한 것들이고 문명사의 많은 페이지를 차지하고 있다. 시각적 커뮤니케이션으로 시작한 동굴 벽화 등의 이미지 제작은 보다 현실적 방법이 발전되었고 역동적 제작의 성향을 보였다. 하지만 계급 사회와 종교 이데올로기가 지배하는 사회에 이르러 이미지 제작은 절대자 위주의 정지 공간에 국한되었다. 이에 대한 반발과 변화는 르네상스와 근대에 이르러 구체화 되었다. 특히 영국의 라파엘전파는 움직임을 보여주는 다양한 구도의 이미지를 제작했다. 본 연구에서는 이미지들이 가진 영상 공간으로의 확장성이었다. 이를 위하여 미국 작가 에드워드 호퍼의 이미지들을 중심으로 분석해보았다. 그의 작품들에서는 매우 여유 있는 공간 조성을 통하여 인간 소외와 도시의 그늘 등이 매우 유효하게 묘사되어 있었다. 분석을 통하여 호퍼의 이미지 공간들은 영상 공간으로의 확장 성향을 분명히 나타내고 있었고 그것이 그가 지향하고 있는 주제를 적절히 보여주고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 주제어 : 이미지, 영상, 확장 공간 Abstract We, human have developed the images toward becoming eternal and movable. So that it maybe established many kinds of image that existing from the birth of us. For example, all the images were painted in the caves are for the visual communications toward vivid informations. Otherwise, in the middle age of Europe, the images were painted as a major scheme to worship to their feudal and Christian authority till the era of Renaissance. From recent year some artists had described not for authority but for people with the ways of enhancing spaces. Especially the Pre-raphaelites in United Kingdom had various views with the images related to spaces. American artist Edward Hopper has shown us more meaningful images with space for the tendency of view extensions very well. In this thesis I concluded that Hopper's works are related very well with the views of space extension as moving intension. Keywords : image, motion picture, extension of space |
