| 내용 | 고려 청자완(靑瓷碗)의 시각적 문양에 상징된 철학사상 Philosophy of the Visual patterns in Koryo Celadon Bowls 박 경 희 삼척대학교 ------------------------------------------------------------ Contents 논문요약 Abstract Ⅰ. 서론 Ⅱ. 고려시대 사상(思想)과 청자완과의 관계 1. 불교사상(佛敎思想) 2. 음양오행사상(陰陽五行思想) 3. 고려시대 음양오행사상에 대한 이해 Ⅲ. 고려 청자완의 무늬에 나타난 사상(思想) 1. 무늬에 상징된 불교사상 2. 무늬에 나타난 음양오행사상 Ⅳ. 결론 참고문헌 논문요약 고려청자는 고려를 대표하는 시대의 유물일 뿐만 아니라 우리나라를 세계에서 빛나게 하는 민족의 유산이라 할 수 있다. 이러한 고려청자 가운데 청자완에 나타난 다양한 무늬를 분석해 보면 그 안에는 불교철학이나 음양오행사상이 담겨 있음을 발견할 수 있다. 이것은 고려시대 승려의 불교철학이나 문인 또는 귀족들의 음양오행과 관련된 사상이 고려 청자완에 반영된 것이라고 할 수 있다. 이러한 사상들을 표현하고 있는 무늬를 보면, 크게 불교를 상징하는 무늬와 음양오행사상을 상징하는 무늬로 대별해 볼 수 있다. 불교를 상징하는 무늬에는 주로 꽃을 청자완에 가득 메워 불교의 화엄사상을 상징하거나, 연꽃이나 동자 또는 물새, 포류수금문 등을 장식하여 불교의 이상세계를 나타내고 있다. 또한 음양오행사상을 나타내는 무늬에는 주로 태극을 상징하는 원권문 안에 음양을 나타내는 두 마리의 봉황 등 동물이 그릇의 중앙에 위치하고 있으며, 당초문 같은 서화(瑞花)·서초(瑞草)는 동[木,靑]·서[金,白]·남[火,赤]·북[水,黑]의 4 곳과 중앙[土,黃]에 시문되어 오행을 상징하고 있다. 이상에서 우리는 고려 청자완에 나타난 무늬와 배치를 통해서 장식은 단순히 꾸미기 위한 것이 아니라, 그 시대의 사람들의 요구와 사상들이 반영된 것임을 알 수 있다. Abstract Koryo Celadon represents not only the inhertance of the Koryo era but also a unique tradition of Korean history in the world. When I examined the various patterns shown in Koryo Celadon Bowls, I could discover the pattern of Buddhism, YinYang and Five Element Thought, which describe the thought of the Koryo people immersed in the science of divination hidden in Koryo Celadon. When studying the patterns symbolized by these thoughts, I could detect the patterns of lotus flowers·boys·willows·waterfowls, two Chinese phoenix and five divine flowers in bowl. The traits of these patterns signify an ideal world of Buddhism, order and harmony of the nature. Therefore the Koryo Celadon bowl patterns were not simple ornamental decoration but reflected much deeper thoughts and beliefs of the time through symbolism.
